EasyPalmCards help
Common questions about the editor, AI tools, sharing, accounts, and plans. Can't find what you need? Email us at [email protected].
Account & login
- Why do I need to use the same login method each time?
- Our login system ties your account to the method you used to sign up — email/password, Google, Facebook, etc. Each method creates a unique identifier, so switching to a different method with the same email address won't automatically link to your existing account. Always use the same method you originally signed up with.
- I accidentally created multiple accounts. What should I do?
- Contact us at [email protected] and we'll sort it out. We can identify which account has your saved cards and help you get back to using the right one.
- How do I reset my password?
- On the login page, click "Forgot password" and follow the email link. If you signed up with Google or Facebook, password management is handled entirely by that provider — not by EasyPalmCards.
Using the editor
- Do I need an account to use the editor?
- No. You can import, edit, rehearse, and print without signing in. Sign in when you want to manage an account or use Gold features such as saved card sets.
- How do I add more cards?
- In the editor, click the "Add card" button below the last card. You can create as many cards as you need, reorder them by dragging, and delete any card individually.
- How do I print my cue cards?
- Click the Print button in the editor toolbar. The layout is formatted specifically for printing — cards appear at the right size to cut out and hold in your hand. Make sure to use the print preview before sending to your printer.
- Can I export to PDF?
- Yes. Choose Export in the editor, select full colour or black and white, review the page layout, then download your PDF. Free exports include EasyPalmCards branding; Gold exports do not.
Card names, regions & paper
- Are palm cards, cue cards and note cards different?
- No, they are the same thing with different local names. Australians say palm cards; the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada and India mostly say cue cards or prompt cards; in the United States people say note cards, speech cards or index cards (usually 3×5 or 4×6 inches). EasyPalmCards makes all of them.
- What are "queue cards"?
- "Queue cards" is a common misspelling of cue cards. A cue is a prompt that tells you what comes next, which is what the cards do during a speech. If you searched for queue cards, the cue card maker is what you were looking for.
- How do I change my region or default paper size?
- Use the region switcher at the bottom of any page. It changes the wording on the site and the default paper for new card sets: US Letter in the United States and Canada, A4 everywhere else. You can still pick any paper size in the editor Layout panel, and your choice is kept for that card set.
AI tools
- What AI tools are available?
- Free users can draft a short set from a topic. Gold adds Key Points, Improve & Split, shortening, polishing, speaker cues, transitions, counterarguments, likely questions, and whole-deck rewriting. AI is always optional.
- How many AI uses do I get?
- Free includes 3 AI actions a month (up to 2 a day), with up to 4 cards in each draft. Gold includes up to 300 AI actions a month (up to 30 a day) and drafts of up to 20 cards. Actions include drafting, shortening, polishing, adding speaker cues, and changing a whole set. Daily limits reset each day and monthly limits on the first of the month.
- Is the AI mandatory?
- No. You can write, format, reflow, print, and export cards without using an AI feature.
Sharing
- Can I share my palm cards with others?
- Yes. A card set kept in your browser can use a temporary share link. Gold members can create a lasting link for a saved set. People opening the link do not need an account.
- How long does a share link last?
- Share links for anonymous (non-saved) cards expire after 7 days. Share links on Gold accounts stay active as long as the card exists and sharing is enabled.
- Can I make a shared card private again?
- Yes. Toggle sharing off in the card options and the link will stop working immediately.
- Are uploaded images checked?
- Yes. Images uploaded to your account are sent to Google Cloud Vision for an automated safety check, and only the result is kept. Images kept on your device are never sent. An image that is not cleared is shown only to you, never on share links or in classes.
- How do I report a shared set?
- Open the share link and choose Report at the bottom of the page. You do not need an account, and we review every report.
Plans & billing
- What does the free plan include?
- Free includes file and text import, the full card editor, Smart Reflow, browser printing, 3 AI actions a month, and PDF export with a daily limit (3 a day without an account, 5 with a Free account). No account is needed to start.
- What does Gold add?
- Gold keeps card sets in your account across devices, stores rehearsal history, includes up to 300 AI actions a month, keeps PDF exports outside the Free daily quota, and provides 5 GB of saved-set storage. It also keeps share links active and removes ads and EasyPalmCards branding. Gold costs £2.99 GBP monthly or £29.99 GBP yearly.
- How do I cancel my Gold subscription?
- Go to Account Settings and open the Subscription tab. You can cancel at any time — your Gold access continues until the end of the billing period.
- Will I lose my cards if I cancel?
- No. Your saved cards remain in your account. You just won't be able to add new saved sets or use Gold features after the billing period ends.
